  • How long should I plan to commit to therapy?
    After our first session, you will begin by meeting weekly for 50 minute sessions. If there are conflicts that prevent you from meeting weekly, we also offer extended sessions or sessions via phone or video chat. There is no definitive answer for how long you will need to continue therapy. Most couples see dramatic improvement in 12 - 16 sessions, individual progress can take longer or shorter depending on the issue being addressed. You and your therapist can decide together if you would benefit from more or less time as you continue treatment.
  • Do you take insurance?
    While we do not take insurance directly, we are accepted as an “out-of-network” provider, so you can get any out-of-network benefits that your plan provides. If you don’t have insurance, choose not to use your insurance, or don’t have out-of-network benefits, we accept private pay clients as well. In fact, most of our clients are private pay.     Yes. We have a range of therapists available. You can book your free 15-minute call with them from our contact page. One of the most powerful forces in therapy is the alliance and rapport you have with your therapist, so we certainly understand that you want to find a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. Further, various qualities contribute to finding the therapist that is the best fit for you, such as availability, rate, experience, demographics, and so on. We recommend you read our bios and request an appointment with the therapist you feel most drawn to. From there, we offer free consultation phone calls to help determine if we’re a good fit.

    Everyone in our practice offers slightly different availability. Together, we are available Monday-Friday 9 am - 9 pm, and Saturdays 10 am - 6 pm. We are closed on all major holidays.
